Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tB-Degree in Electrical Engineering: (Heavy Current) or Project Management \/ B Admin\/ LLB (NQF Level 7) Equivalent
\n\tCode B driver’s licence
\n\t5 years’ experience in Project Management, Municipal Revenue Management, Electrical Meter Installations or a similar environment<\/p>\n
Core Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tPlan and manage all projects undertaken by the Energy Revenue Services division related to metering installation.
\n\tImplement and drive overall project management plans within the area of accountability in order to contribute to building strategic capability of the department.
\n\tPlan projects to ensure that only feasible wee-defined projects that support the department and council objectives are embarked upon.
\n\tImplement, monitor and control revenue protection measures to maximise income for the council as guided by the metering policies.
\n\tEnsure that completed work adheres to governance and legislative requirements.
\n\tPlan, administer and control budgets for contractors, equipment and supplies to prevent and reduce wastage on financial resources and escalate associated risk.
\n\tPlan and design metering related infrastructure to ensure that meter related infrastructure meet the demand.
\n\tAppoint and manage revenue services consultants and contractors and ensure that high standard of service delivery
\n\tEnsure integrity and effective administration of project management administrative process<\/p>\n
