\tThe iCafe at 1 Sandton Drive is looking for a passionate and service-driven Barista to join our team full-time.
\n\tThis role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating quality coffee, thrives in a dynamic retail environment, and values customer interaction.
\n\tThe successful candidate will work five days a week, including Saturdays, in line with retail hours.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and serve high-quality hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffee and teas, in line with iCafe standards.
\n\tDeliver outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and offering knowledgeable recommendations.
\n\tMaintain a clean, safe, and organised caf\u00e9 environment, adhering to hygiene and health and safety regulations at all times.
\n\tOperate the point-of-sale system efficiently and manage transactions with attention to accuracy.
\n\tRestock ingredients and consumables throughout the shift and ensure the display area remains appealing and well-presented.
\n\tSupport daily caf\u00e9 operations and collaborate effectively with the broader iCafe and iStore team.
\n\tRepresent the iStore and iCafe brands professionally, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all customers.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tCompleted Matric
\n\tPrevious barista or caf\u00e9 experience preferred.\u00a0
\n\tPassion for coffee and creating excellent customer experiences.
\n\tFriendly and approachable, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
\n\tAble to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
\n\tPunctual, reliable, and a strong team player.<\/p>\n
Working Hours:<\/p>\n
\t5 days per week (including one Saturday), based on a retail shift schedule.
\n\tFlexibility for weekday shifts, including morning and afternoon coverage.<\/p>\n
