{"id":15848,"date":"2025-08-07T14:00:25","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T14:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/hr-manager\/"},"modified":"2025-11-08T00:24:57","modified_gmt":"2025-11-08T00:24:57","slug":"hr-manager","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=15848","title":{"rendered":"HR Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Duties<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide overall strategic leadership on all human resources matters within the Commission for Gender Equality<br \/>\n\tDevelop and review Human Resources Management and Development policies, procedures and processes<br \/>\n\tManage and oversee all Human Resources administration practices including Human Resources reporting<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement progressive Recruitment and Selection mechanisms in order to attract the best talent whilst keeping abreast with market trends<br \/>\n\tManage the development and implementation of learning and development strategies and programs<br \/>\n\tImplement Change Management strategies, processes and interventions that support the Commission\u2019s ambition to be a high performing organisation, to include initiatives which foster a high-performance culture, where valuing learning, continuous improvement and diversity are the norm.<br \/>\n\tFacilitate the effective management and maintenance of the Performance Management System<br \/>\n\tProvide institutional support in the creation of effective talent management and retention<br \/>\n\tManage and promote sound employee relations<br \/>\n\tManage the implementation of employee health and wellness programmes \u2022<br \/>\n\tFacilitate the development and implementation of an employment equity plan and programme<br \/>\n\tDesign and delivery of culture, climate, or employee engagement surveys<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement a Human Resources Service Delivery Strategic implementation plan to fast-track the turn-around time of human resources service offering pertaining to clients\u2019 needs<br \/>\n\tProvide advice to line management on HRM&amp;D matters<br \/>\n\tManage all aspects of people management within the Human Resources Management and Development Unit<br \/>\n\tDevelop initiatives to improve and sustain a good organisation culture.<br \/>\n\tRecruitment and retention, Payroll processing and leave maintenance, statutory compliance, disciplinary processes and HR policies and Procedures.<br \/>\n\tManage HR audit processes.<br \/>\n\tDevelop staff development programmes.<br \/>\n\tEstablish, maintain and manage HR systems automation and ensure effective functionality thereof.<br \/>\n\tKeep track of employee performance.<br \/>\n\tManage initiatives to improve good organisational culture.<br \/>\n\tOversee and manage benefits and compensation.<br \/>\n\tHandle labour relations, conflicts, disciplinary actions, and terminations.<br \/>\n\tPerform other HR related duties as and when required.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>\tA bachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources.<br \/>\n\tA minimum of 4 to 5 years in experience in Human Resources including labour relations<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of standard practices, processes and procedures relating to HR Planning<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of Human Resource frameworks, policies, and procedures as applicable to constitutional bodies.<br \/>\n\tAn understanding of and ability to develop and apply human resources strategic and administrative processes (e.g., Wellness programmes, talent management, learning and development, transfer, personnel record, etc.)<br \/>\n\tKnowledge and understanding of Labour Law<br \/>\n\tHuman resources statistical analysis and reporting skills<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of payroll administration.<br \/>\n\tComputer literacy<br \/>\n\tDesign performance measurements and scores<br \/>\n\tAnalyse, interpret &amp; evaluate performance reports.<br \/>\n\tCommunicate performance information effectively.<br \/>\n\tProduce the performance results to the standard, &amp; within the timeframes required.<br \/>\n\tApplied understanding of the statutory and regulatory requirements regarding performance monitoring, evaluation and reporting, including Section 38(1)(a)(i) &amp;
