Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Social Media & Digital Brand Management<\/p>\n
\tManage the executive\u2019s social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, and others).
\n\tBuild and maintain a forward-looking content calendar aligned with strategic objectives.
\n\tCreate and publish social-first content\u2014videos, imagery, and copy\u2014aligned with the executive\u2019s voice and values.
\n\tMonitor and manage audience engagement, responding to relevant comments and messages.<\/p>\n
Content Strategy & Execution<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement a digital content strategy to position the executive as a sector thought leader.
\n\tWrite and edit opinion pieces, short articles, speeches, blogs, and video scripts.
\n\tEnsure all content reflects strong written English and maintains tone consistency.
\n\tRepurpose content effectively across platforms to maximise visibility and engagement.<\/p>\n
On-the-Move Content Creation<\/p>\n
\tTravel with the executive as needed to document events, appearances, and interactions.
\n\tCapture real-time, high-quality visuals and videos for social media use.
\n\tWork with speed and flexibility in diverse, on-the-ground settings.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Collaboration<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate with the executive\u2019s office, marketing, PR, and design teams.
\n\tEngage with external partners including media, influencers, and content collaborators.
\n\tEnsure alignment between personal digital presence and broader corporate messaging.<\/p>\n
Performance Monitoring<\/p>\n
\tTrack and report on social media analytics and audience engagement metrics.
\n\tUse data insights to adjust strategy and improve content performance over time.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\t3\u20136 years’ experience in social media management, executive communications, or content strategy.
\n\tExcellent command of written English, with strong editing and storytelling skills.
\n\tProven ability to shoot, edit, and publish photo and video content independently.
\n\tSolid grasp of social media trends, digital platforms, and analytics tools.
\n\tComfortable working under pressure and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
\n\tConfident engaging senior stakeholders and representing a high-level brand.
\n\tMust reside in Gauteng, preferably in Centurion, Pretoria, Midrand or Johannesburg.<\/p>\n
