Requirements<\/p>\n
Group Financial Reporting<\/p>\n
\tCoordination and oversight of month end processes.
\n\t\u00a0Consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports across all group’s entities.
\n\tEnsure\u00a0compliance and alignment with internal policies and relevant financial legislation.
\n\tPresent financial results to senior leadership and the Finance and Risk Committee.<\/p>\n
Budgeting and Forecasting<\/p>\n
\tLead the annual group budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises.
\n\t\u00a0Drive financial planning and analysis including scenario modelling and business case development<\/p>\n
Treasury and Cash Flow Management<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Monitor group cash flow and working capital, ensuring optimal cash deployment.
\n\tManage intercompany loans, foreign exchange exposure and banking relationships.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Compliance and Audit<\/p>\n
\tEnsure statutory compliance with tax, financial and regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions.
\n\tLiaise with external auditors, lead group internal and external audit process and resolve audit queries
\n\tEnsure audit findings are addressed.<\/p>\n
Risk Management and Controls<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement internal financial and procurement controls and policies.
\n\tDevelop and implement group and country transfer pricing policies
\n\tIdentify and manage financial risks, including credit risk, foreign currency exposure and liquidity risks.<\/p>\n
Tax Management<\/p>\n
\tOversee group tax planning, compliance and reporting (Direct and indirect taxes).
\n\t\u00a0Co-ordinate tax advisors and ensure transfer pricing documentation and intercompany compliance.\u00a0
\n\tOversight of tax and statutory submissions
\n\tImprove financial reporting systems and management systems where required<\/p>\n
Business Partnering<\/p>\n
\tProvide financial guidance to ExCo and Operational leaders across the group
\n\tSupport mergers, acquisitions, investment opportunities and due diligence.
\n\tManage Joint Venture entities and liaise with partners on financial matters.<\/p>\n
Team Leadership<\/p>\n
\tLead and mentor the finance team, including local finance managers and partners across the group.
\n\tFoster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, compliance and continuous improvement.
\n\tStrategic financial insight with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
\n\tExceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
\n\tLeadership skills and ability to manage remote\/ dispersed teams.
\n\tProject accounting experience would be advantageous.
\n\t\u00a0High level communication and presentation abilities.
\n\tResilience under pressure, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
\n\tStrong African and tax experience
\n\tKnowledge of international tax, transfer pricing and cross-border compliance would be advantageous.
\n\tFrench speaking would be advantageous.\u00a0

Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tEssential: B.Com Accounting (Honours) with articles.
\n\tCA(SA) or equivalent.<\/p>\n
Work Experience<\/p>\n
\tMore than ten years post articles experience.
\n\tProven experience managing multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation.
\n\tExperience working with ERP systems such as Business Central<\/p>\n
