Education and Experience<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualification & Experience Required<\/p>\n
\tBachelor’s Degree \/ Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Information Technology or Computer Science AND minimum 8-10 years’ experience in a DB2 environment, of which 3-4 years\u2019 experience at operational specialist level<\/p>\n
OR<\/p>\n
\tSenior Certificate (NQF 4) AND Relevant IT Qualification \/ Certification AND \u00a08-10 years\u2019 experience in a DB2 environment, of which 3-4 years\u2019 experience at operational specialist level<\/p>\n
ALTERNATIVE\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tSenior Certificate (NQF 4) AND 15 years\u2019 experience in a DB2 environment, of which 3-4 years\u2019 experience at operational specialist level<\/p>\n
Minimum Functional Requirements:<\/p>\n
Relevant technical experience:<\/p>\n
\tAdvanced administration experience in latest version of DB2 LUW
\n\tExperience with large, high volume transaction environments
\n\tQuery troubleshooting and optimisation
\n\tPerformance tuning
\n\tBackup\/Recovery of databases
\n\tClustering\/High Availability experience<\/p>\n
