PRIMARY PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tThe purpose of the role is to support the Personal and Business Banking divisions.
\n\tThis role will be crucial in managing the full P&L for Merchant Services and Card Transactions for both business and personal banking segments.
\n\tThis individual will also drive cost efficiency including scheme costs, review contracts, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
\n\tThe ideal candidate will have significant experience in business partnering, understanding scheme costs and processes, working closely with frontline and product teams, and have a track record of optimizing financial performance in these areas.<\/p>\n

\tTake full ownership of the Merchant Services P&L and Card P&L for both Business Banking and Personal Banking, ensuring accurate reporting, analysis, and financial performance.
\n\tDrive the financial performance of card and merchant services, ensuring profitability while maintaining a focus on cost control and efficiency.
\n\tLead efforts to drive cost efficiency across all scheme-related activities, focusing on reducing scheme costs and penalties.
\n\tOversee and manage all expenses within the Personal and Business Banking divisions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and controls.
\n\tIdentify opportunities to optimize costs, streamline processes, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service delivery<\/p>\n

Unpack the make up of rate to clearly articulate what works or does not work and clarity of action. 3. Volume – Distil the impact of volume analysis to clearly reflect on corrective action and who needs to action what.<\/p>\n
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE<\/p>\n
\tUnderstand the operations of the various systems within the division and how these feed into the reporting system.
\n\tUnderstand the finance operations of the division and ensure that all general ledger recons are per the Quality Recon Governance Framework.
\n\tUnderstand billing on the relevant products and how this translates to acquiring and transactional revenue.
\n\tLead the Operational Risk committee for PBB Finance<\/p>\n
