In this role you will represent the parts &amp; services commercial business in the sales area including business development, distributor management, people management, sales &amp; profitability, local implementation of global parts &amp; services commercial portfolio and product line focus areas and measurements.<\/p>\n<p>Main responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>\tExecution of Global divisional strategy within a matrix organization<br \/>\n\tUltimate responsibility to meet established sales targets and ensuring they are effectively cascaded in relevant targets of the relevant teams<br \/>\n\tProvide regular business performance metric reports to management;<br \/>\n\tLiaise and work with senior management to set forecasts, budgets, and targets,<br \/>\n\tEnsure that end-user and customer relations are effectively managed,<br \/>\n\tReview and monitor sales performance and refine sales strategy as required,<br \/>\n\tManage relevant managers performance and results,<br \/>\n\tManagerial responsibility for multiple teams across locations<br \/>\n\tEnsure strong financial discipline within Southern Africa sales area, balancing sales and managing Administrative and Sales (A&amp;S) expenses (Direct &amp; Indirect)<br \/>\n\tCreate customer value propositions to proactively create opportunities for aftermarket offerings<br \/>\n\tDevelop and drive sales initiatives within the service offering to secure sustainable business for workshops and service contracts.<br \/>\n\tConduct commercial activities in alignment with agreed account management plan and way of working<br \/>\n\tEnsure that end-user and customer relations are effectively managed,<br \/>\n\tExecute the Total Cost of Ownership models as defined and developed by the Total Cost of Ownership Analysis<br \/>\n\tRecruit, retain, develop and manage performance of multiple (cross-border) sales teams and individuals.<br \/>\n\tProvide regular business performance metric reports to management;<br \/>\n\tLiaise and work with senior management to set forecasts, budgets, and targets,<br \/>\n\tImplement the Sales Area parts &amp; service budget (both cost and revenue \/profit margins) in alignment with Parts &amp; Services Division &amp; Account Management<br \/>\n\tSet the Sales Area Customer Support Centre budget for both cost and revenue \/profit margins<br \/>\n\tEnsure strong financial discipline within Southern Africa sales area, balancing sales and managing Administrative and Sales (A&amp;S) expenses (Direct &amp; Indirect)<\/p>\n<p>Minimum qualifications :<\/p>\n<p>Post matric professional qualification, such as:<\/p>\n<p>\t3 year National Diploma in Mining Engineering or Mechanical\/Electrical Engineering or similar (NQF Level 6); or<br \/>\n\tGrade 12 with a relevant Higher Certificate (NQF Level 5) with a minimum of 12 years\u2019 experience; or<br \/>\n\tCertificate of competence (Mine Manager or Government Certificate of Competency Engineering) with a minimum of 12 years\u2019 experience.<br \/>\n\tDegree in Mining Engineering or Mechanical\/Electrical Engineering or similar (NQF Level 7) (advantageous)<br \/>\n\tStudying towards a MBA \/ MBL (advantageous)<\/p>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<p>\t10 years broad-based business management experience, of which 5 years is in a leadership role \/ capacity is essential.<br \/>\n\tExperience in a mining environment (advantageous)<br \/>\n\tSales and marketing experience (advantageous)<\/p>\n<p>Required Competencies:<\/p>\n<p>Technical Competencies<\/p>\n<p>\tAccount Management, Finance and Business Acumen, Quality Management, Products &amp; Services, Producing Results, Problem Solving, Risk Management, Administrative Compliance , Project Management and Field Sales.<\/p>\n<p>Human Resources Competencies<\/p>\n<p>\tStakeholder Management, Employee Relations, Coaching, Emotional Intelligence, Conflict Management, Communication, Teamwork, Delivery Focus, Talent Management, Business Ethics, Problem Solving, Managing expenses and Finances, Strategy, Ethical Behaviour \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Other Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>\tPhysical and medical ability to function in an underground mining environment as per medical standards<br \/>\n\tWill be required to travel<\/p>\n<p>Deadline:15th August,2025<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( http:\/\/home.sandvik ) or<\/p>\n<p>sandvik.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/sandvik.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com","_company_name":"Sandvik","_company_website":"http:\/\/home.sandvik","_company_tagline":"Sandvik is a global industrial group with advanced products and world-leading positions in selected areas - tools for metal cutting, machinery and tools for rock excavation, stainless materials, special alloys, metallic and ceramic resistance materials as well as process systems.
