In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Director of North American Caselaw and the Global Head of Cases to help align the Global Case Law team around a shared vision for growth and operational excellence. You will drive improvements in efficiency, revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction. A key part of your role will be leading change management as the team transitions into a production environment that utilizes generative AI for content creation and review. You will also play a vital role in fostering employee engagement and enabling high team performance.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tLead and support a high-performing editorial team producing legal content such as case law summaries, headnotes, and annotations.
\n\tPromote a culture of collaboration, equity, and continuous improvement.
\n\tImplement scalable editorial workflows, integrating AI tools and automation.
\n\tSet clear goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching and development opportunities.
\n\tEnsure content meets quality, accuracy, and timeliness standards.
\n\tManage team resources, project priorities, and stakeholder relationships.
\n\tOversee budgets, vendor engagements, and operational efficiency initiatives.
\n\tContribute to global editorial strategies and cross-functional projects.
\n\tSupport the adoption of innovative technologies and data-driven decision-making.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tExperience leading teams or managing projects in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
\n\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
\n\tAbility to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple initiatives with attention to detail and quality.
\n\tA problem-solving mindset and openness to new technologies and continuous improvement.
\n\tFamiliarity with legal content, editorial processes, or similar professional environments.
\n\tA law degree (JD, LLB, or equivalent) or relevant legal editorial experience.
\n\tExperience supporting teams through organizational change or transformation.
\n\tA process-oriented approach, with the ability to develop and implement consistent workflows and best practices.<\/p>\n
