Access Control (P8) (Protection Services) \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Manager II: Projects and Maintenance (P7) (Protection Services)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job description<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>\tImplement an institutional fundraising strategy within the overall UJ strategic plan.<br \/>\n\tOversee the fundraising governance and fundraising readiness of priority projects for possible donor support and partnerships.<br \/>\n\tOversee the maintenance and accuracy of the donor database, ensuring that all records are up to date and compliant with data protection policies.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that all team members adhere to established stewardship protocol<br \/>\n\tContribute to the planning, design, and execution of strategic fundraising campaigns.<br \/>\n\tEstablish, build, maintain, and manage relationships with key SA and international funders.<br \/>\n\tSecure major donations through leveraging crucially important collaboration opportunities available.<br \/>\n\tEffect these duties accurately and efficiently to adhere to sound financial, administrative and policies.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement an overall fundraising plan to strengthen strategic partnerships.<br \/>\n\tInteract with businesses, government, and semi-government agencies.<br \/>\n\tDevelop creative ways of promoting the institution to all stakeholders locally and internationally.<br \/>\n\tIncrease year on year, the number of strategic partners and donations.<br \/>\n\tEnsure growth by attracting new donors, retaining current ones and renewal of lapsed donors.<br \/>\n\tImplement and oversee an effective stewardship programme.<br \/>\n\tWork closely with the Alumni Relations, Global Engagement, University relations and Research teams, as well as the crucially important internal clients (faculties &amp; project leaders) in order to strengthen strategic partnerships.<br \/>\n\tManage the fundraising operational budget effectively and accurately.<br \/>\n\tAdhere to all ad hoc requests from the Senior Manager: Development and Fundraising and the Director: Development and Fundraising.<\/p>\n<p>Minimum requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tAt least a Bachelor\u2019s degree (NQF 7) in Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field<br \/>\n\tAt least 5 years&#8217;
