\tWe\u2019re seeking a dynamic, experienced, and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our client\u2019s powerhouse team. This is a unique opportunity to work with one of the most respected names in the commercial and residential electrical industry.
\n\tOur client is a prominent, long-established Electrical Contractor based in Johannesburg, known for delivering complex electrical solutions across large-scale commercial and high-end residential developments. Their reputation for excellence, safety, and innovation has made them a preferred contractor in the industry.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tProfessional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) registration (SACQSP)
\n\tMinimum 5 years\u2019 experience in Quantity Surveying within the Electrical Construction industry
\n\tProven track record in commercial and residential projects
\n\tStrong knowledge of electrical contracting processes, SANS standards, and JBCC\/NEC contracts
\n\tExcellent negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills
\n\tProficient in relevant QS software and MS Office Suite
\n\tBased in or willing to relocate to Johannesburg<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tPreparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
\n\tContract administration and financial reporting
\n\tMeasurement and valuation of works
\n\tManaging project cash flow and subcontractor accounts
\n\tCost control and value engineering throughout project lifecycle
\n\tLiaising with clients, consultants, and site teams
\n\tEnsuring compliance with contractual and legal obligations<\/p>\n
