Introduction<\/p>\n
\tTracker requires the Services of a Quality Assurer: Installations in the Technical Department based in the Middelburg Office. This department is responsible for effecting installations of sophisticated electronic equipment into vehicles. This position requires the candidate to ensure that all installations are conducted according to Tracker quality standards and provide excellent customer service to all our stakeholders. Please note that EE candidates will be given first preference.<\/p>\n
Job description<\/p>\n
\tPerform regular and planned assessment in your area of responsibility
\n\tIdentifying shortfalls and providing solutions
\n\tinteracting with technicians and having technical discussions
\n\tPerform regular and planned assessments of fitment centre in your area
\n\tMentoring and educating technicians
\n\tEnsure compliancy with regards to installations and OEM bulletin
\n\tEnsuring compliancy in customer service ethics
\n\tEnsuring bulletins are circulated to Technicians and FC
\n\tMaintain strong Quality standards
\n\tEnsure compliancy with regards to reporting to admin and Management
\n\tLiaise between multiple departments \u00a0
\n\tMotivate techs to perform quality installations
\n\tProvide reports and feedback
\n\tImplement and evaluate quality procedures
\n\tEvaluate and improve technical procedures
\n\tAttending to Technical SR\u2019s that are quality related and give feedback to the technicians and the managers.
\n\tMaintain Trackers recommended recovery rate in your area of responsibility through the installation quality process
\n\tPerform test requests
\n\tAttending to PIC\u2019s
\n\tAttending to battery drainage complaints
\n\tAssisting with project installations
\n\tAssisting with afterhours standby
\n\tLiaise with clients to solve technical issues and deliver service excellence
\n\tEnsure compliancy with regards to reporting to Management
\n\tAssisting with technical queries<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric with a National Technical Certificate in Automotive Electronics\/Motor Mechanic.
\n\tMinimum 5 years\u2019 experience as an auto electrician or motor mechanic with one year being in a Supervisory role.
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license.
\n\tThe candidate must possess good communication and administrative skills.
\n\tComputer literacy will be advantageous (MS Office)
\n\tPossess good fault-finding skills and techniques.
\n\tPossess the necessary skills to deliver service excellence.
\n\tBe prepared to travel.<\/p>\n
