Minimum requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tNational Diploma (NQF 6) in hospitality management or related field.
\n\tMinimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality management.
\n\tExcellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tSupervise and manage administration staff on all client visits and enquires, ensuring that all client files are up to date
\n\tCommunicate on a regular basis with all new clients after the contracts have been opened to ensure client satisfaction is maintained from start to end
\n\tLead and manage all client site visits, and empower new clients to book functions and rooms in Joburg City theatres
\n\tManage the sales targets daily and report on sales targets achieved weekly
\n\tPlan and co-ordinate all events and functions with front of house staff
\n\tSupervise the service standards from start to end of event or function
\n\tManage and co-ordinate all line staff during events
\n\tConduct site inspections with the client on the various facilities available, advising and discussing the merits of the various options
\n\tManage the companies function planner schedule ensuring that there are no double bookings and to communicate this regularly with all management
\n\tSupervise and assist at any special functions, should the function warrant this, which may also sometimes be out of normal working hours
\n\tEnsure that all events within Joburg Theatre complex & outdoor events run smoothly & are of high standard
\n\tManage all revenue received, ensuring that all daily revenue is wrung up on the companies Point of sale system
\n\tProvide weekly client visit reports to senior management
\n\tSupervise the weekly forecasts of all venue and rooms availability
\n\tManage all outstanding monies owed through events and functions
\n\tManage an updated client database and constantly update whenever any new client visits
\n\tMaintaining good guest, PCO\u2019s and client relations
\n\tAttending meetings with all subordinates, ensuring a good flow of communication and feedback.<\/p>\n
