About the Role<\/p>\n
\tMacmillan Education \u2013 South Africa is seeking a TVET Administrative Assistant to join our Regional Publishing Services team, based in Midrand. As a TVET Intern Administrative Assistant, you will coordinate and manage the production processes of educational materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products.<\/p>\n
Role Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tManage and track documents relating to internal compliance \u2013 manage requests, authorisation, follow-up and filing.\u00a0
\n\tManage and track administration of author contracts.
\n\tProcess invoices on Syspro and ensure correct expense codes.
\n\tProcess EFT requisitions and related admin for non-WIP expenses.
\n\tCreate presentations and PPT decks to brief.
\n\tSet up book templates and populate, as required
\n\tSource appropriate Shutterstock images in response to briefs.
\n\tHelp create\/collate Advance Information and other sales\/marketing collateral as needed.\u00a0
\n\tTrack progress of marketing collateral content against deadlines (e.g. AIs, promotional booklets, catalogues, videos, workshops, author audio clips).
\n\tGeneral administrative support, including couriers, copying, scanning, printing, collating, room bookings, travel bookings and scheduling meetings.<\/p>\n
Experience, Skills & Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tAt least two years\u2019 relevant work experience. \u00a0
\n\tAttention to detail, extremely accurate.\u00a0
\n\tCompleted Matric
\n\tStrong English literacy and communication.\u00a0
\n\tHighly organised and systematic.\u00a0
\n\tHigh competence in Word, Excel, PPT.\u00a0
\n\tFamiliarity with Syspro and facility to learn other packages as necessary.\u00a0
\n\tSpeedy, responsive, engaged.
\n\tTeam player.\u00a0<\/p>\n
