Key Accountabilities<\/p>\n
Business Partnering<\/p>\n
\tAct as the key Finance Contact to the divisional GMs and HODs.
\n\tAssist GMs and HODs with issues arising in the respective Cost Centres.
\n\tMaintain relationships with divisional GMs and provide visibility around divisional performance.<\/p>\n
Perform Financial Planning and Analysis<\/p>\n
\tBe the first point of contact on financial matters to MAH divisional GMs
\n\tTake accountability for financial processes relating to a defined list of business units within MAH including monthly reporting and plan processes
\n\tLiaise actively with Shared Services to deliver MAH objectives
\n\tDrive monthly finance meetings for results reviews with MAH divisional GMs
\n\tProvide MAH Corporate input into consolidated 24-month Treasury cash flow forecasts
\n\tProvide MAH corporate input into consolidated 24-month rolling forecasts of the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash flow statement
\n\tInitiation and approval of SGA expenses to confirm validity and availability of budget
\n\tProvide input into the monthly reporting pack for business units (including financial performance and variance analyses of actuals against plans, forecasts, prior periods)
\n\tPrepare divisional performance reporting for monthly and year to date results against budget and forecasts (including input into functional review requirements)
\n\tProvide meaningful ad hoc financial analysis as required to divisional GMs and regional teams for agency and franchises
\n\tProactively partner with the business to identify and evaluate opportunities to improve bottom line business performance and ensure that change initiatives are implemented
\n\tAssist with projects identified by the business and drive them to completion.<\/p>\n
Budgets and Forecasts<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for budgeting and forecasting of MAH divisional income statement, certain balance sheet and cash flow financial statement line items.
\n\tResponsible for the completeness and accuracy of the MAH entity financials for budgets and forecast.
\n\tThrough close engagement with GMs, drive the budget and forecast process for various business units.
\n\tResponsible for BPC loading of divisional income statement, balance sheet and cashflow during budgets as well as monitoring the performance of the system
\n\tAssist with the completion of MAH BV consolidated 24-month rolling forecasts of the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash flow statement<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tCA(SA)<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 1-3 years post articles experience
\n\tSAP system experience advantageous
\n\tAdvanced excel skills
\n\tFamiliarity with finance databases
\n\tAbility to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
\n\tIndustry understanding and experience would be advantageous
\n\tIntercompany accounting experience is essential<\/p>\n
