\tBKB is seeking a Livestock Manager who will be responsible for the operational management and profitability of the Kroonstad Livestock Branch. Important operational functions inherent in a Livestock business include Financial Management, Personnel Management, Marketing and all administrative duties related to the business.<\/p>\n
JOB REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tRelevant tertiary qualification (Agricultural Diploma\/Degree)
\n\tAt least 5 years\u2019 experience in Livestock Marketing
\n\tThorough management skills, financial skills and business understanding
\n\tProven administrative skills (debtors\/creditors)
\n\tExposure to strategic management
\n\tProven marketing exposure
\n\tBilingual (English \/ Afrikaans)<\/p>\n

\tEnsure constant growth within the area through increased market share, turnover growth and profitability
\n\tIdentify and manage strategic objectives for the business unit
\n\tEffective management of employees through attracting, developing and retaining talent
\n\tResponsible for preparation of budgets and financial statements for the business unit
\n\tBuilding and maintaining stakeholder relationships, including buyers, sellers and relevant industry associations and societies
\n\tProvide efficient and effective debtors\u2019 control
\n\tEffective brand management support service
\n\tEnsure that all regulatory requirements are met (CPA, Animal Protection Act, Animal Diseases Act)<\/p>\n
