Main purpose \/ objective of the position:<\/p>\n
\tProvide a highly effective and efficient council liaison and technical service that will ensure that queries logged in terms of utility accounts for client are followed up and concluded correctly and timeously to assist the client in achieving uninterrupted utilities supply at the lowest cost.<\/p>\n
Role Objectives Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tTo receive queries and requests for investigations from clients and colleagues
\n\tResearch, analyse and produce an effective plan of action to resolve queries
\n\tConduct field audit investigations
\n\tTimely capture of all the queries in the relevant tracker
\n\tImmediately action and handle all follow up, negotiation, planning and coordination with Municipalities and\/or Landlords to effectively implement corrections
\n\tMaintain query tracker with up-to-date meaningful comment on previous actions, next steps and scheduled dates sheets and provide status updates to completion at least bi-weekly
\n\tAnalyse meter readings and tariffs to ensure cost reflective recovery
\n\tPrepare reconciliations as and when required
\n\tEnsure deadlines are met in accordance with the SLA\u2019s as per the contracts
\n\tCompile monthly reports accurately and timeously
\n\tReport any abnormalities in terms of costs and recoveries
\n\tEnsure all changes are properly added to the workflow and are implemented within SLA timelines
\n\tEnsure all queries raised are properly added to the workflow and are resolved and responded to within SLA timelines
\n\tMeet with clients when needed to resolve queries<\/p>\n
Experience \/ Education:<\/p>\n
\tSenior Certificate with maths
\n\tAt least 5 years minimum experience within the utility\u2019s environment<\/p>\n
Knowledge Required:<\/p>\n
\tAptitude for figures and financial skills.Aptitude for figures and financial skills
\n\tAptitude for figures and financial skills
\n\tUnderstanding of the electrical network and different types of Utilities tariff structures
\n\tAdequate knowledge of specific discipline
\n\tLegislation and regulations with regards to municipal\/government supply and services requirements.

\n\tComputer Literacy
\n\tNegotiations skills & great communication skills
\n\tOrganising skills<\/p>\n
