The role will work closely with Finance, Claims, Legal, and Policy maintenance & Premium teams to deliver insightful analyses, uncover financial misconduct, and make recommendations that support ethical and transparent operations.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tUse data analysis tools e.g excel and other forensic tools to trace transactions and detect anomalies
\n\tIdentify suspicious financial activity and irregularities in the operational departments, including claims, premium and the other departments
\n\tInvestigate suspicious financial activity and irregularities
\n\tPerform forensic audits and field investigations
\n\tCompile detailed investigation reports with findings, evidence, and recommendations
\n\tWork with Legal and HR on disciplinary and regulatory matters when misconduct is confirmed
\n\tProactively identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements to mitigate fraud risk
\n\tSupport the development of FEM\u2019s fraud risk management framework and awareness initiatives<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tProfessional certification such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), or relevant forensic auditing qualifications
\n\t3\u20135 years of experience in forensic auditing, fraud investigation, or financial crime analysis
\n\tStrong analytical skills, ethical judgement, and attention to detail
\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills
\n\tProficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel and other tools)<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Forensic Accounting
\n\tProfessional certification such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), or relevant forensic auditing qualifications
\n\tExperience in the insurance industry, particularly related to claims and premium fraud
\n\tKnowledge of COIDA, the Insurance Act, and other relevant regulatory frameworks
\n\tFraud detection and investigation experience<\/p>\n
