General Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tEnsure accurate control of inventory up to and beyond the KPI levels expected by the customer and DHL.
\n\tPlan and manage all stock counts and audits of inventory.
\n\tDevelop & maintain effective inventory process, incorporating warehouse management systems and OMS principals.
\n\tProduce accurate stock Key Performance Indicator reports, analyse and recommend changes to Standard Operating Procedures to enhance accuracy and operational effectiveness.
\n\tPut in place procedures to monitor and minimise stock losses.
\n\tDaily recons on storage types and ensure that inventory team meets daily targets.
\n\tMonitor all stock movements within warehouse and ensure report on issues.
\n\tConstant communication with operational team.
\n\tTrain team members to ensure that inventory control procedures are fully implemented.
\n\tImplement procedures to maintain cycle counting and perpetual inventory.
\n\tUnderstand DHL’s stock loss contractual liability and ensure any potential risk is effectively mitigated.
\n\tProduce timely and accurate management information & reports as required.
\n\tManage and motivate inventory team – ensure adequate inventory team cover available across all operational shifts.
\n\tEnsure OMS principals are followed and complete relevant activities, i.e. bi-weekly one to ones with team.
\n\tLead the reporting and reconciliation of any stock mock or actual recalls and ensure quality and client receives accurate feedback while accounting for the physical stock with GRA team.
\n\tEnsure relevant validations are done and drive continuous improvement within the team.
\n\tControl of team budgeted hours and costs.<\/p>\n

\n\t3-5 years\u2019 experience of working in inventory and warehouse environment
\n\tKnowledge of logistics market trends, opportunities and challenges
\n\tStrategic tools\/techniques approaches and strategy determination<\/p>\n
