Key Job Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tLead the formulation and implementation of the Customer Training development strategy, aligning it with changing customer demands, company goals, and service excellence;
\n\tDevelop and lead the Customer Training Centre to meet the evolving needs of both customers and internal staff;
\n\tTake ownership of the Customer Training budget, ensuring cost control and effective allocation of resources;
\n\tManage and coordinate the upgrading of training materials, lesson plans, and simulators in compliance with SAQA requirements;
\n\tDrive the development and timely delivery of new training content to ensure minimal disruption to customer operations;
\n\tPlan and manage Specialised training classes requested by customers outside of the standard training schedule;
\n\tChampioning the transformation of Customer Training into a self-sustaining, value-adding function;
\n\tMaintain and ensure ongoing compliance with ISO standards and SAQA accreditation requirements;
\n\tCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, industry bodies, SETA, and other regulatory entities;
\n\tProvide leadership and guidance to team members.<\/p>\n
Qualifications\/Requirements<\/p>\n
\tTechnical qualification (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, or related engineering discipline) \u2013 essential;
\n\tDiploma\/certificate \u00a0in Training & Development, Human Resources, or a related field is an added advantage;
\n\tCertified Skills Development Facilitator;
\n\tMinimum 5 years\u2019 experience in technical or operator training, with curriculum development exposure with minimum 3 years in a supervisory or management role within a technical training environment;
\n\tIndustry experience in surface or underground mining, engineering, or OEM product training (preferred);
\n\tAdvanced report writing and excellent presentation skills;
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license and reliable transport.<\/p>\n
