Job Description<\/p>\n
\tContinuously improving plant reliability
\n\tExecute maintenance strategies
\n\tProvide input to structure and root cause failure analysis
\n\tEnsure accurate data is captured timeously
\n\tExecute repair procedures
\n\tManage and execute shutdown tasks
\n\tExecute statutory inspections and follow up
\n\tAssist in fixed cost budget forecasting
\n\tManage maintenance execution team
\n\tDirectly supervise contractors
\n\tEnsure the completion of improvements, modifications, upgrades and inspections to process equipment adhering to quality and legislative standards
\n\tProvide input to update specifications, drawings and safe work procedures
\n\tInspect and approve work executed to engineering design code in line with OHS Act standard and requirements
\n\tModify existing equipment, machines or processes to improve product quality, reliability, reduce cost or increase capacity by following MOC process
\n\tVisit vendors for inspections and approval of work executed in accordance with engineering design, code and OHS Act standard and requirements
\n\tWitness repairs to critical equipment and perform testing of new equipment as needed
\n\tManage the execution and over inspection of welding\/repair procedures
\n\tExpert knowledge in maintenance of plant equipment
\n\tInterpret codes, regulations and standards and ensure compliance<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tMatric \/ Grade 12 (with Maths and Science)
\n\tNational Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (required)
\n\tB-Tech\/BSc Mechanical Engineering ( advantageous)
\n\tProfessional registration with ECSA (preferred)
\n\tWorking towards GCC. (desirable)
\n\tMinimum 3-to-5-year plant experience
\n\tPrior experience working with a CMMS, SAP PM
\n\tMust be able to read and interpret drawings<\/p>\n
