\tWe are looking for a Mechanic to join our team at our Midstream branch.<\/p>\n
Mechanic requirements:<\/p>\n
Requirements \/ Personal Attributes:<\/p>\n
\tPresentable appearance and sober habits
\n\tExcellent timekeeping skills
\n\tNo criminal record
\n\tStrong interpersonal skills
\n\tAbility to work under pressure
\n\tAbility to train co-workers
\n\tStrong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
\n\tA working understanding of electrical DBs and wiring
\n\tExperience with diagnostics equipment and ECU\u2019s
\n\tComputer literate
\n\tStrong technical background.
\n\tStrong knowledge on reconning starters, alternators and all electrical components
\n\tStrong knowledge of ECU\u2019s and key coding
\n\tStrong knowledge of programming ECU\u2019s
\n\tBe able to work in a team environment.
\n\tSet high standards and well-defined realistic goals both personally and within the team
\n\tShould be able to carry out work in accordance with professional standards and have thorough knowledge in the field
\n\tKnowledge of Siphoning fuel from a car<\/p>\n
Qualifications \/ Experience:<\/p>\n
\tTrade test motor mechanic (red seal)
\n\t5-7 years\u2019 experience in diagnostics and fault finding
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n
Duties:<\/p>\n
\tPerform service, repair and maintenance on customer’s vehicles
\n\tMechanical and Electronic Diagnostics
\n\tMaintain a safe and clean work environment
\n\tOrder and source parts
\n\tDiagnosing and fault finding on ECU\u2019s
\n\tRepairing all electrical components on a motor vehicle
\n\tRepairing wiring and ECU\u2019s on a motor vehicle
\n\tCoding keys and programming ECU\u2019s on a motor vehicle
\n\tTraining apprentices and managing a team of technicians<\/p>\n
