Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tClearing of Import cargo in accordance with client requirements
\n\tTrack documentation flow from time of shipment to time of receipt in BIL and EMO Offices\u00a0
\n\tReceive instructions and documents\u00a0
\n\tCheck for completeness and accuracy, if necessary obtain further details \/ instructions
\n\tCreate shipping files (paper and paperless) and register on CW \/ Frame the Bill of Entry on CargoWise \u00a0
\n\tObtain master \/house transport document information from carriers \u00a0\/consolidators
\n\tDistribute work to other departments
\n\tTrack cargo for which he\/she is responsible
\n\tExpedite cargo with carriers, terminals,depots and other transport operators\u00a0
\n\tKeep clients informed and handle queries from clients and other stakeholders and departments
\n\tKeep system updated with all communication and documentation received and affected
\n\tEnsure that all disbursements are recorded and recovered
\n\tInitiate claims in respect of lost, damaged or discrepant cargo
\n\tRecord POD’s\u00a0
\n\tAssist business with possible new or existing business leads \u00a0For Business Growth
\n\tCarry out acquittal procedures
\n\tAll incidents to be logged timeously on the SmartSure system
\n\tAbility to handle forwarding clients with complex requirements
\n\tLog all claims timeously on Claim App<\/p>\n
