Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tOperate digital printers and finishing equipment (e.g. guillotine, binding machines, laminator)
\n\tPerform pre-press checks and imposition for various print jobs
\n\tHandle post-production tasks: trimming, collating, binding, packaging
\n\tMonitor print quality and equipment performance
\n\tManage inventory and consumables; liaise with suppliers and vendors
\n\tLog maintenance and service calls; coordinate with technicians
\n\tProvide administrative support and assist internal clients with print requests<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 3 years in a pre-press or digital production print environment.
\n\t2 years experience operating digital print and finishing equipment.
\n\tMatric or equivalent required.
\n\tTechnical training in print production\/reprographics is essential.
\n\tStrong attention to detail and quality control.
\n\tExcellent time management and ability to handle high-volume workloads.
\n\tCompetence in CorelDRAW, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word & Excel.
\n\tKnowledge of Fiery Print Server and Quite Imposing (or similar).
\n\tUnderstanding of variable data printing and colour management.
\n\tExperience with Xerox\/Canon production printers (Advantageous).
\n\tFamiliarity with a wide range of print-ready file formats (PDF, AI, CDR, etc.) (Advantageous).
\n\tCreative problem-solving and a proactive, team-oriented attitude (Advantageous).<\/p>\n
