Core Description<\/p>\n
\tThe Senior Specialist – Operating Model Management will serve as the Center of Excellence for the management of the organisational operating model.
\n\tThis role is critical in defining, operationalising, measuring, and optimising our operating model, ensuring alignment with our Enterprise Technology and Process Architecture competencies and supporting our organisational design and job architecture.
\n\tThe individual will work collaboratively across various functions, including core business unit, Finance, HR, IT, and senior leadership, to ensure our capability landscape, interaction model, processes – via close collaboration with the process excellence capability, reporting, and governance structures are robust and enabling for execution excellence in the business.<\/p>\n
Key Deliverables \/ Primary Functions<\/p>\n
\tDefine and maintain the organisational capability landscape, including the iterations of the enterprise interaction model, demonstrating how work flows across the enterprise.
\n\tEnsure alignment of the operating model to the customer journey maps, enterprise business process, job and technology architectures.
\n\tDevelop and refine the organisational design supporting job architecture.
\n\tCollaborate with HR to integrate job architecture into the organisational structure.
\n\tEstablish and maintain governance frameworks and reporting structures.
\n\tWork with stakeholders to define and operationalise the operating model.
\n\tMeasure and report on the maturity of the operating model components.
\n\tIdentify opportunities for optimisation and implement necessary changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
\n\tCollaborate closely with the Process Excellence capability to ensure seamless integration of processes within the operating model.
\n\tIdentify & manage tools and repositories for operating model artifacts.
\n\tEnsure these tools are effectively utilised across the organisation.
\n\tSet up and manage governance forums to oversee and manage components of the operating model.
\n\tFacilitate regular reviews and updates to ensure the operating model remains aligned with organisational goals.
\n\tServe as the subject matter expert on the operating model within the organisation.
\n\tProvide guidance and support to various teams on operating model principles and leading practices.
\n\tDevelop and deliver training programs to build operating model management competencies across the organisation.
\n\tEngage with senior leadership and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for operating model initiatives.
\n\tFacilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive strategic objectives.
\n\tCommunicate complex concepts and insights effectively to diverse audiences.<\/p>\n

Minimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tNQF 6: 3 year Degree\/ Diploma\/ National Diploma in Science, Information Technology, Informatics or Business Management
\n\tOR NQF 4: Grade 12<\/p>\n
Additional Education -Preferred \/Advantage<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t7 years\u2019 relevant experience in business architecture, operating model design, or a related field.
\n\tExperience in organizational design, job architecture, and process optimization.
\n\tProficiency in business architecture frameworks and tools.
\n\tStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
\n\tKnowledge of enterprise technology architecture and its impact on business operations is a plus.<\/p>\n
Or<\/p>\n
\t9 years\u2019 relevant experience of which at least 2 years on management level if in possession of a Grade 12 qualification.<\/p>\n
