A micro student will be responsible for conducting daily microbiological testing for water, finished products, raw materials and environmental swabs They will interpret laboratory data to assess compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements and assist in investigation of contamination and raise non conformances for out of spec results.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBiotechnology or Food Technology qualification
\n\t0-2 years experience
\n\tMust be Quality-oriented: Focusing on quality in all tasks
\n\tDriver for Results: Focusing on achieving results and driving performance<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDaily Management of micro lab which includes the following;
\n\tDaily temperature verification of critical lab equipment\u2019s
\n\tDaily verification of scales using mass pieces
\n\tConduct daily microbiological testing of water, finished products, raw materials and environmental swabs in accordance with relevant standards and internal procedures.
\n\tEnsure accuracy and reliability of test results by application of controls and participating in proficiency testing programme
\n\tAssist in investigation of contamination and raise non-conformances for out of spec results
\n\tSupport the validation \u00a0activities of Microbiologist
\n\tParticipate in Good Manufacturing Practices audits and CCP audits.
\n\tCompile and maintain accurate test records and laboratory documentation and generate accurate reports based on the collected data.
\n\tManage all 3rd party laboratory testing and conduct proficiency testing for finished products<\/p>\n
