{"id":16359,"date":"2025-08-13T20:00:25","date_gmt":"2025-08-13T20:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/sales-representative-south-gauteng-east\/"},"modified":"2025-11-14T00:24:44","modified_gmt":"2025-11-14T00:24:44","slug":"sales-representative-south-gauteng-east","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=16359","title":{"rendered":"Sales Representative &#8211; South Gauteng: East"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Operations<\/p>\n<p>\tPlan and implement the activities that are necessary for the realisation of the individual territory target, on a periodical and annual base<br \/>\n\tMeet sales target in own territory<br \/>\n\tPlan quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily on a continuous basis<br \/>\n\tImplement effectively and monitor the outcomes of all the planned promotional activities, providing feedback on strategy<br \/>\n\tComply with all the requirements of and utilise the customer management system (Repwise) to effectively target, grade and maintain all customer related activities in the individual territory<br \/>\n\tCategorise customer base, according to current and potential contribution in terms of Scripts and pharmacy Sales.<br \/>\n\tTarget customers according to grade for optimal number of sales calls per annum, quarter and\/or month to ensure one obtains market control<br \/>\n\tMaintain Expected Call Rate of 9 Doctors and\/or Pharmacies per day<br \/>\n\tAdhere to Call Coverage and Frequency expectations<br \/>\n\tLog calls daily<br \/>\n\tActivate out of field when applicable<br \/>\n\tEnter mileage daily<br \/>\n\tDetail targeted customers and utilise selling skills that has maximum potential\/positive effects on sales<br \/>\n\tUndertake country trips as required<br \/>\n\tAttend industry meetings, conferences and trade displays as required<br \/>\n\tMaintain and develop important customers and\/or Key Opinion Leaders by keeping open channels of communication, in which the company and its products are well represented, and the good relationship is leveraged to drive sales in the territory<br \/>\n\tCommunicate electronically, by email or phone, with NSM and\/or marketing all relevant and vital strategic information of events taken place in the field that could meaningfully affect the business<br \/>\n\t\u00a0Expected email download and response: twice daily (morning and afternoon)<br \/>\n\tClosely follow all competitor activities and present relevant observations meaningfully to the marketing department. \u00a0Transfer any planned countering activities and materials against competitors effectively to the customers in line with the purpose and monitor the outcomes<br \/>\n\tEffectively utilise allocated marketing spend to access, support and grow key customers in the individual territory<br \/>\n\tRegarding the daily, weekly activities, preparing the necessary reports and submitting them to related Sales, Marketing and Finance Departments in a correct and timely manner<br \/>\n\tMonth End Report<br \/>\n\tMonthly Planner<br \/>\n\tExpenses<br \/>\n\tAction Plans<br \/>\n\tBe proactive and use personal insights and initiatives, where relevant and in consultation with The NSM and\/or marketing department, to develop customers, grow sales and achieve targets in your individual territory and for the business as a whole<br \/>\n\tInitiate journal clubs and training of customers as needs arise<br \/>\n\tImprove and maintain product knowledge (any new products and knowledge of current package inserts)<br \/>\n\tShare best practices with colleagues to improve efficiency in the field<br \/>\n\tIdentify potential issues or problems, within the business or within the key stakeholder value chain, that could be responsible for limiting current or future business sales and growth.
