The purpose of this role is to manage Sales volumes and margins in a defined territory and develop market share through a well-defined strategy.<\/p>\n
WHAT YOU WILL DO:<\/p>\n
\tPlan and direct the activity of a Sales team, ensuring they consistently deliver against targets and KPIs
\n\tGrow volumes in existing markets through existing sales structures\u00a0
\n\tDevelop new markets & channels
\n\tMonitor bakery sales activity and success rates against targets, and take appropriate corrective action where necessary.
\n\tDevelop strong business relationships with store management to provide service and value beyond the customer’s expectations.
\n\tEnsure that merchandising frequency is planned and conducted to brand and store demands.
\n\tGather intelligence and report on customer preferences, competitive activity & pricing
\n\tDevelop and maintain a complete knowledge of products within your portfolio, sales systems and procedures.
\n\tEnsure that product quality delivers to the required Tiger Brands level, securing a consistent output
\n\tAssess procedures and equipment to find improvement potential, ultimately increasing production efficiency and customer satisfaction
\n\tSecure the customer and consumer satisfaction needed to drive growth in the competitive bakeries market\u00a0
\n\tWork with customers to ensure sufficient product is ordered to support consumer take away.<\/p>\n

Minimum requirements:<\/p>\n
\tBachelors degree or relevant qualification
\n\t5-10 years Sales management experience in depth in FMCG
\n\tBakery sales management is an added advantage<\/p>\n
