\tProvide a timely response to equipment breakdowns in order to minimize plant downtime.
\n\tTo analyse the causes of equipment failure and perform fault finding so as to be able to repair any breakdowns and prevent reoccurrence.
\n\tThe timely performance of preventative maintenance work in order to minimize equipment failures.
\n\tCommissioning of new equipment installed prior to productive use, so that correct installation and operation are ensured.
\n\tThe provision of reliable equipment operating and repair status information to production personnel and maintenance planner.
\n\tTo ensure that all work is performed competently and in accordance with BMW specifications.
\n\tTo ensure that all equipment and work areas are safe at all times to prevent accidents and injury to personnel.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
\tN4\u00a0
\n\tTrade Test: Millwright, Electrical or Mechanical.
\n\tTechnical Diploma in engineering will be advantageous.\u00a0
\n\tMinimum 2-3 years experience in Assembly Plant.
\n\tBasic and advanced statistical process control.
\n\tBasic fastening technology.
\n\tTorque tool handling methods.
\n\tBasics of Electronic fastening workstations AMT \/ Atlas Copco.
\n\tBasics of PC systems, Networking \/ IPS – Q (International Production System \u2013 Quality).<\/p>\n
