OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB<\/p>\n
\tTo oversee the overall functioning of procurement; and implement cost-effective purchases of all goods and services, as required by the SACAA.<\/p>\n
Management of the overall procurement function<\/p>\n
\tManage the procurement of goods and services.
\n\tCoordinate the approval of PO\u2019s on the electronic system<\/p>\n
Policy development and reviews<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and review effective supply chain policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
Application of BBBEE<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and manage BBBEE policy in line with Government objectives.<\/p>\n
Performance Management<\/p>\n
\tManage the performance of subordinates through effective Performance Management Systems.<\/p>\n
Source Competitive Suppliers<\/p>\n
\tNegotiate with suppliers of goods and services for the best ROI.<\/p>\n
Facilitate and Negotiation Contract<\/p>\n
\tNegotiate contracts at all levels.
\n\tOversee the contracts management role.<\/p>\n
Implement Supply Chain Framework and Systems<\/p>\n
\tImplement systems in terms of the supply chain framework.<\/p>\n
Establish and Manage Vendor Data Base<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and manage a supplier data base.<\/p>\n
Travel Management<\/p>\n
\tManage travel agent contract, coordinate and sign off travel invoices<\/p>\n
Tender Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that tenders are properly coordinated in line with SCM framework.
\n\tEnsure that tenders are finalised as per SCM stipulations.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma in Supply Chain or related NQF Level 6 Qualification.<\/p>\n
Ideal Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tB Degree in Supply Chain or relevant Degree and Registered with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS)<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t5 years Procurement or Supply Chain experience<\/p>\n
