The successful candidate will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
\tWorking with various stakeholders to ensure that the eThekwini communication operation effectively delivers the key messages of the Party
\n\tManaging and coordinating the communications of the Party within the metro, and between the province and national, through all available media platforms
\n\tProviding effective and efficient research and political support to the members of the eThekwini caucus<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements:<\/p>\n
\tNational Senior certificate or equivalent
\n\tTertiary qualification in media, communications or public relations (advantageous)\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t2 years in a similar role
\n\tWriting and editing letters
\n\tSocial media management
\n\tStrong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence with access to a vehicle for daily business use
\n\tComputer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite<\/p>\n
