\tWe\u2019re looking for a talented Trade Operations Specialist to join our team. You\u2019ll support the execution of international trade transactions by processing documentation, coordinating operational tasks and ensuring smooth and compliant trade workflows.\u00a0
\n\tYou\u2019ll be a key part of our Trade Documentary team, who are responsible for supporting the efficient execution of Trade Finance operations within the Bank. The team are vitally important to the Bank\u2019s core strategy, handling transactions globally and minimising risk. You\u2019ll be part of a global, purpose-led business with the resources to support your unique career aspirations. Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tYou\u2019ll be ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services, exceeding customer expectations and working accurately and efficiently, showcasing good business processes and sound judgement.\u00a0
\n\tYou\u2019ll release deals as per the departmental operating instructions manual, customer instructions and within the timeliness and accuracy standards specified.
\n\tEnsure transactions are handled with in the allocated approved limits at all times, on a continual basis.\u00a0
\n\tUnderstand our workflows and processes, and prioritise transactions based on business and client requests.<\/p>\n
Skills and Experience<\/p>\n
\tSignificant prior experience in trade finance operations within a banking or financial institution.
\n\tExperience document checking under letter of credit.
\n\tStrong understanding of Trade Finance products, including export negotiations, guarantees and documentary collections.
\n\tRelevant trade certification such as a Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists. (CDCS), Certificate for Specialists in Demand Guarantees (CSDG), or Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF).\u00a0
\n\tKnowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) & sanctions.
\n\tFamiliarity with Trade Finance systems and technologies.<\/p>\n
