As an Architect, you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
Market Research & Analysis<\/p>\n
\tConduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and key players in the infrastructure sector.
\n\tAnalyse competitive landscapes to shape business strategies.<\/p>\n
Strategic Planning<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and pursue new business ventures as well as manage and build on the existing business portfolio currently within the company.<\/p>\n
Client Relationship Management<\/p>\n
\tBuild and nurture long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
\n\tAct as a trusted advisor to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.<\/p>\n
Pipeline Development<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and qualify new opportunities, including public and private sector projects, through proactive outreach and networking.
\n\tExperience in government projects such as Human Settlements, Public works, Health- and Education sector.
\n\tExperience in Water and Sanitation technologies will be beneficial.<\/p>\n
Proposal Development<\/p>\n
\tLead the preparation and submission of tenders, bids, and other business proposals, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company capabilities.<\/p>\n
Collaboration<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with internal teams, including operations departments, commercial and supply chain, town planners, engineers, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.\u00a0
\n\tCollaborate closely with government departments, external funders, implementing agents, and professional service providers\u2014including town planners, engineers, and supply chain partners\u2014to ensure the seamless execution of strategic initiatives across sectors such as housing, transport infrastructure, and special economic zones.<\/p>\n
Job Specifications<\/p>\n
\tDrive strategic planning and execution across assigned portfolios.
\n\tEnsure alignment of the company\u2019s overall goals and objectives.
\n\tPreparation of high-level feasibility studies, including financial modelling, of proposed developments.
\n\tMonitor and manage existing relations with current stakeholders.
\n\tProvide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on progress, risks, and opportunities.<\/p>\n
Job Requirements<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tA degree in Architecture,
\n\tBachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
\n\tNational Diploma in Architectural Technology
\n\tRegistration with SACAP is preferred
\n\tPostgraduate qualifications or professional certifications \/ registrations in the relevant field.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in middle management roles.
\n\tProven expertise in at least two of the following areas: Business Development, Tender Management, Project Management, Engineering, quantity surveying or 3rd Party Service Provider management.
\n\tTrack record in the education and health sectors will be advantageous.
\n\tKnowledge of BIM and GIS will be beneficial.
\n\tKnowledge and experience in design of complex commercial buildings
\n\tKnowledge and experience in delivering large scale mixed use and commercial projects.<\/p>\n
