\tHello Group is seeking to appoint a dedicated Operations Manager for the motorcycle fleet department, to be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, performance, and maintenance of the motorcycle fleet, ensuring maximum vehicle uptime, operational efficiency, cost control, and compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nFleet Operations & Logistics<\/p>\n
\tOversee the deployment, allocation, and rotation of the motorcycle fleet.
\n\tMonitor daily fleet availability, usage, and driver compliance.
\n\tEnsure optimal utilization of motorcycles to maximize revenue and efficiency.
\n\tCoordinate with dispatch and scheduling teams to meet operational targets.<\/p>\n
Maintenance & Repairs<\/p>\n
\tImplement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns.
\n\tLiaise with service providers for repairs, servicing, and parts procurement.
\n\tMaintain detailed service and maintenance records for each motorcycle.
\n\tMonitor fuel, tyre, and spare parts usage to control costs.<\/p>\n
Driver Management & Contracts<\/p>\n
\tMonitor driver performance, conduct, and adherence to safety regulations.
\n\tManage rental collections, arrears follow-ups, and dispute resolution.
\n\tCoordinate replacement bikes or loan units when motorcycles are in for repairs.<\/p>\n
Asset Recovery & Security<\/p>\n
\tTake responsibility for securing company assets when drivers default on payments.
\n\tConduct or coordinate repossession of motorcycles when required, ensuring compliance with company procedures and legal requirements.
\n\tManage and maintain all keys, tracking devices, and immobilisation systems.
\n\tWork closely with law enforcement or security providers when needed.
\n\tImplement measures to prevent theft, loss, or misuse of motorcycles.<\/p>\n
Process Improvement<\/p>\n
\tReview operational workflows to identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
\n\tImplement technology solutions for key management, maintenance tracking, and performance monitoring.
\n\tWork closely with the telematics department to enhance in-house systems.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nRequired Skills & Competencies<\/p>\n
\tStrong operational and logistics management experience.
\n\tSecurity and asset recovery experience, including repossession procedures.
\n\tExcellent communication and leadership skills.
\n\tStrong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
\n\tKnowledge of fleet tracking systems, maintenance cycles, and cost control.
\n\tNegotiation skills for supplier, service, and driver agreements.
\n\tProficient in MS Office and fleet management software.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tDiploma\/Degree in Operations Management, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
\n\t3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in fleet operations or logistics (motorcycle fleet experience advantageous).
\n\tProven security or repossession\/recovery experience.
\n\tExperience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license (motorcycle license an advantage).<\/p>\n
