\n\tThe successful candidate will manage and ensure strong accounting in compliance with relevant accounting standards and reporting throughout the group, including assisting with quarterly, \u00a0semi-annual and annual reporting requirements to shareholders and preparation & review of financial statements. Management of relationship with auditors. Additional ad-hoc responsibilities will be assigned\u00a0<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
Manage the monthly reporting process \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tEnsure monthly reporting of accounts in compliance with IFRS\u00a0
\n\tEnsure \u00a0monthly general ledger recons are prepared and reviewed\u00a0
\n\tAssist in coordinating monthly profit numbers\u00a0
\n\tAssist in the preparation of reports for EXCO and Board Meetings\u00a0
\n\tEnsure accurate and timely monthly reporting to CBC\u00a0<\/p>\n
Assist with the quarterly reporting process to CBC \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and review sections of the quarterly financialreporting package \u00a0
\n\tPlay key role in the quarterly reviews by external auditors.\u00a0
\n\tAssist in resolving audit queries\u00a0
\n\tAssist in providing required information to the CBC team\u00a0<\/p>\n
Assist with the annual reporting processes as required by the Companies Act, IFRS, etc \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and review sections of the financialreports \u00a0
\n\tAssist with the maintenance and update of the Group’s IFRS reporting templates\u00a0
\n\tPrepare and review subsidiary companies annual financialstatements \u00a0
\n\tAssist in driving the implementation of IFRS changes as far as it is relevant to the Group’s reporting requirements\u00a0
\n\tAssist in the preparation of the group impairment calculations and going concern review\u00a0
\n\tEffective role in the external audit process\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ad-hoc projects \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAssist in the updating of internal accounting guidelines and policies\u00a0
\n\tAssist with the implementation of new IFRS standards\u00a0
\n\tAssist in the setting and updating of accounting policies\u00a0
\n\tReview capex application and business cases as required in accordance with group policies and relevant accounting standards\u00a0
\n\tProvide training as required on IFRS\u00a0
\n\tAssist with general information queries from senior management\u00a0<\/p>\n
Manage Staff \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tSet clear performance objectives and manage performance\u00a0
\n\tConduct succession planning for critical positions\u00a0
\n\tEnsure subordinates are competent in their functions by providing training and development where necessary \u00a0
