\tThis role involves supporting vegetable production operations by scheduling sowing, managing inventory, handling customer orders and queries, and maintaining accurate production records.
\n\tThe ideal candidate will ensure compliance with ISO9001 standards and contribute to improved production efficiency through strong communication and organisational skills.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities and Duties<\/p>\n
\tAssist with planning and scheduling the vegetable sowing list
\n\tMaintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts
\n\tConfirm planting orders with customers and handle related correspondence
\n\tGenerate and send quotes, maintain customer orders, and perform system checks for accuracy
\n\tEnsure seed stock levels are adequate and place orders in a timely manner
\n\tComplete and maintain production reports and documentation, ensuring accessibility and accuracy
\n\tAdhere to ISO9001 quality management standards in all production activities
\n\tCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production goals and improvements
\n\tIdentify and suggest opportunities for efficiency improvements and support quality assurance initiatives<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Skills<\/p>\n
\tMatric \/ Grade 12
\n\tA qualification in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field (advantageous)
\n\tAt least 2 years\u2019 experience in a production or inventory management role (preferably in agriculture or vegetable production)
\n\tExperience with production planning, record-keeping, and customer order handling
\n\tStrong organisational and time management skills
\n\tExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
\n\tFamiliarity with production management software
\n\tStrong verbal and written communication skills
\n\tAbility to work effectively in a team environment
\n\tValid Driver\u2019s License (Code 08)<\/p>\n
