\n\tCo-ordinate and facilitate Regulator\/Committee meetings, including meeting packs for all meetings\u00a0
\n\tDevelop Regulator work plan, schedule Regulator meetings, liaise with Chairperson, Committee Chairpersons and CEO to prepare meeting agendas.\u00a0
\n\tArrange, prepare and disseminate agendas for Regulator\/Committee meetings\u00a0
\n\tEnsure \u00a0that \u00a0the \u00a0proceedings \u00a0of \u00a0the \u00a0Regulator\/Committee \u00a0meetings \u00a0are \u00a0accurately minuted\/recorded\u00a0
\n\tFacilitate approval of Annual Regulator\/Committee work plans
\n\tMonitor \u00a0Regulator\/Committee \u00a0action \u00a0plans \u00a0to \u00a0ensure \u00a0plans \u00a0are being \u00a0addressed \u00a0timeously \u00a0and obtain feedback on specific agenda items\u00a0
\n\tMaintain Regulator records and registers, including a Declaration of Interests Register \u00a0
\n\tFacilitate \u00a0logistical \u00a0arrangements \u00a0for Members, \u00a0including preparation \u00a0of monthly Remuneration Schedules\u00a0
\n\tDevelop\/review Regulator\/Committee structures and Charters\/Terms of Reference on an annual basis \u00a0
\n\tAttend to annual review\/drafting of Terms of Reference, schedules and other legal instruments \u00a0
\n\tMonitor compliance with good corporate governance practices and legislative instruments\u00a0
\n\tDraft Governance Compliance Checklists and submit Quarterly Governance Reports\u00a0
\n\tProvide detailed guidance to Members on their legal duties, powers and responsibilities\u00a0
\n\tKeep \u00a0abreast \u00a0of \u00a0all \u00a0legislation, \u00a0regulatory \u00a0and \u00a0corporate \u00a0governance \u00a0developments \u00a0that \u00a0may influence the \u00a0organisation\u2019s operations and ensure that Regulator Members are \u00a0informed when making decisions\u00a0
\n\tMakes the relevant parties aware of any law relevant to or affecting the Regulator\u00a0
\n\tManage and review Delegations of Authority and applicable governance policies
\n\tFacilitate Members induction and training and ensure regulator training is conducted on key legal, governance and regulatory obligations \u00a0
\n\tConduct Annual Member\/Committee Performance Evaluations
\n\tContribute to Annual Reports of Entity and dissemination thereof\u00a0
\n\tPresent reports and fulfil ad hoc requests of the Regulator members \u00a0<\/p>\n
Required qualifications and experience: \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tA \u00a0LLB Degree or Admitted Attorney or Advocate. A \u00a0master\u2019s degree \u00a0(LLM), Chartered Secretary (CIS), will be an added advantage.\u00a0
\n\tAdmitted as a legal practitioner (Attorney or Advocate)\u00a0
\n\t5-10-years relevant experience in a \u00a0legal environment or \u00a0in a public sector corporate secretariat environment \u00a0
\n\t5 years of consecutive experience as a Company Secretary\u00a0
\n\tMembership \u00a0of the Chartered Governance \u00a0Institute \u00a0of Southern Africa \u00a0or Chartered Secretaries Southern Africa or relevant (added advantage)<\/p>\n
