\tCompile and manage the sales strategy per client for the selected region
\n\tBe prepared to travel to and service clients in the various countries that form part of the KAM portfolio.
\n\tManage the necessary registration and demonstration trials in various countries with regard to the AECI Plant Health product range.
\n\tAssist in drafting crop programmes, promotional material and presentations for the AECI Plant Health product range to assist the client in successfully promoting and selling the APH product range.
\n\tHave a solid technical knowledge of the AECI Plant Health product range in order to\u00a0
\n\tassist distributors and farmers technically on farm and offer them a solution to their problem\/s.
\n\tTo understand the requirements of the farmer and how and where the AECI Plant Health product range will fit into his farming practice.
\n\tAttend farmers\u2019 days and promote the AECI Plant Health product range.
\n\tEnsure the technical assistant undertakes the necessary demonstration trials on farms.
\n\tTrain clients on the AECI Plant Health product range.
\n\tEvaluate competitor products in the various markets in order to position the AECI Plant Health product range strategically.
\n\tTo appreciate the importance of customer satisfaction and responding to this accordingly.
\n\tManagement and guidance of shared resources in African countries.
\n\tAssist the Commercial Manager with timeous forecasts of the products required in the various countries by the respective clients.
\n\tRequired to conform to relevant SHEQ rules and regulations as per company policy.
\n\tTo ensure adherence to the high level of safety standards.
\n\tTo possess the ability to solve problems systematically.
\n\tTo adhere to all internal control policies as directed by Management.
\n\tTo undertake any legal ad hoc tasks for which the incumbent is competent as directed by Management.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMatric \/ Grade 12.
\n\tPost matric qualification in Agronomy and Soil Sciences would be preferable.
\n\tMinimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in the agricultural chemical industry.
\n\tMust have work experience in servicing clients in other African countries.
\n\tBasic budgeting and cost control.
\n\tMust have a sound knowledge of the international market.
\n\tMust be able to gauge the level of understanding of the client in respect of new technology.
\n\tComputer literate MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
\n\tKnowledge of .NET advantageous.
\n\tMust be able to work independently as well as within a team and be deadline driven.
\n\tMust be prepared to travel into Africa and other international countries for periods at a time.
\n\tMust be in possession of a valid driver\u2019s license, have own reliable transport and be medically fit to drive and travel internationally.<\/p>\n
