\tWe are recruiting for a creative and proficient Senior Function Chef in all aspects of food preparation, to overseeing and maintain complete control of the kitchen. The Functions Executive Chef will be responsible for planning and directing food preparation and modifying menus or create new ones that meet quality standards of the Unit.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tRelevant tertiary qualification and\/or equivalent in the food industry
\n\tFunctions Experiance in a coporate enviroment\u00a0
\n\tMinimum of 8 years of experience as a Functions Executive Chef preparation and cooking
\n\tProven working experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef
\n\tExcellent record of kitchen management
\n\tAbility to spot and resolve problems efficiently
\n\tCapable of delegating multiple tasks
\n\tCommunication and leadership skills
\n\tKeep up with cooking trends and best practices<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tPlan and direct food preparation and functions
\n\tModify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
\n\tEstimate food requirements and food\/labor costs
\n\tSupervise kitchen staff\u2019s activities
\n\tArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
\n\tRecruit and manage kitchen staff
\n\tRectify arising problems or complaints
\n\tGive prepared plates the \u201cfinal touch\u201d
\n\tPerform administrative duties
\n\tComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
\n\tKeep time and payroll records
\n\tMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customer<\/p>\n
