\tParticipate fully and be adequately prepared for all aspects of the comprehensive cadet training programme, including ground school, simulator training, and flight instruction;
\n\tAcquire and demonstrate proficiency in aviation theory, aircraft systems, and operational procedures;
\n\tDevelop strong situational awareness, decision-making, and problem-solving skills under varying operational conditions;
\n\tUphold the highest safety standards and comply with all aviation regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures;
\n\tDemonstrate professionalism, discipline, and teamwork in all aspects of training and operational activities;
\n\tMaintain accurate training records and participate in performance assessments as required by the programme;
\n\tActively engage in self-study and continuous learning to meet or exceed training requirements;
\n\tAttend all briefings, debriefings, and feedback sessions with trainers, mentors, and supervisors;
\n\tMaintain the highest standards of discipline, professionalism, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
\n\tObserve and learn company policies, procedures, and compliance standards;
\n\tProgressively build technical knowledge and skills;
\n\tDemonstrate commitment to personal development by actively seeking feedback and incorporating learning into practice;
\n\tProgress from cadet level to fully qualified First Officer status in accordance with the airline’s training and competency requirements, ensuring safe, efficient, and operational performance.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
\n\tValid Commercial Pilots license (Essential);
\n\tValid Multi Engine Instrument Rating (Essential);
\n\tValid Class I Medical (Essential);
\n\tMust have a minimum of 200 total flying hours and a minimum of 10 Multi-Engine Piston (PIC) hours (Essential);
\n\tNo existing medical conditions;
\n\tWilling to sign applicable training bond\/s;
\n\tNo criminal record;
\n\tWilling to undergo a drug and alcohol test;
\n\tOwn transport and RSA Driver’s License;
\n\tSA Citizen with proof of Identity;
\n\tValid RSA Passport;
\n\tCandidate will be required to sign a 7-year Training Bond;
\n\tGood understanding of the Aviation industry;
\n\tKnowledge of the SACAA Regulations;
\n\tKnowledge of high-speed aerodynamics, Aircraft technical and General concepts;
\n\tUnderstanding South African weather systems and phenomena;
\n\tGood ATNS Radiotelephonic procedures;
\n\tExcellent knowledge of IFR procedures.<\/p>\n
