This is a desk-based, high-performance sales role requiring a consultative approach, understanding the customer\u2019s needs, matching them with the right Apple products and mobile contract solutions, and following the opportunity through to closure.<br \/>\n\tUnlike a traditional outbound call centre role, this position demands a high level of ownership over the sales process, strong relationship-building skills, and a tenacious drive to meet and exceed targets.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities &amp; Deliverables<\/p>\n<p>Customer Engagement &amp; Sales Execution<\/p>\n<p>\tProactively connect with customers identified through upgrade campaigns, inbound web leads, and customer value marketing initiatives.<br \/>\n\tTake a consultative approach to understand the customer\u2019s lifestyle, usage patterns, preferences, and budget.<br \/>\n\tRecommend the best product and contract solution \u2014 from SIM-only deals to premium handset and data packages.<br \/>\n\tPromote exclusive upgrade offers, limited-time promotions, and value-added iStore services.<br \/>\n\tOwn the customer relationship from first contact to final deal closure, ensuring consistent follow-up.<\/p>\n<p>Lead Management &amp; Conversion<\/p>\n<p>\tMaintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system.<br \/>\n\tPrioritise and follow up on all leads within defined SLA timeframes.<br \/>\n\tDemonstrate resilience and persistence to convert opportunities into closed sales.<br \/>\n\tAddress and overcome customer objections through tailored, benefit-led solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Industry &amp; Product Expertise<\/p>\n<p>\tMaintain expert knowledge of Apple products, mobile contract types, and partner network platforms (Vodacom, MTN, Telkom).<br \/>\n\tUnderstand and manage processes such as porting, SIM swaps, RICA requirements, and contract renewals.<\/p>\n<p>Quality, Compliance &amp; Risk Management<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure strict compliance with RICA, POPIA, CPA, and company sales protocols.<br \/>\n\tMaintain accurate documentation and audit trails for every transaction.<br \/>\n\tReport any irregularities or suspected fraudulent activity immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Customer Relationship Management<\/p>\n<p>\tDeliver a premium, customer-first experience that builds trust and loyalty.<br \/>\n\tProvide post-sale assistance where required, ensuring a smooth onboarding and activation process.<br \/>\n\tAct as a brand ambassador for iStore and the Apple ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/p>\n<p>\tMatric \/ Grade 12 \/ NQF Level 4 or higher (Sales, Marketing, or Business qualification advantageous)<br \/>\n\t2\u20134 years\u2019 proven sales success in a target-driven environment<br \/>\n\tTrack record of exceeding KPIs in a B2C or B2B sales setting<br \/>\n\tExperience in managing a sales pipeline and closing high-value deals<\/p>\n<p>Skills &amp; Competencies<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong consultative selling ability<br \/>\n\tExcellent verbal communication and active listening skills<br \/>\n\tResilient, persistent, and self-motivated<br \/>\n\tExceptional attention to detail with accurate data handling<br \/>\n\tTechnologically confident (CRM systems, sales dashboards, multi-screen workflows)<br \/>\n\tHigh integrity with strong compliance awareness<\/p>\n<p>Working Environment<\/p>\n<p>\tDesk-based in a fast-paced sales environment<br \/>\n\tIncentive-driven culture with recognition for top performers<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( http:\/\/www.core.co.za ) or<\/p>\n<p>core.simplify.hr<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/core.simplify.hr","_company_name":"Core Group","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.core.co.za","_company_tagline":"We offer people the most exciting information, communication and entertainment technology for work and play, and service them through our network of resellers and our own retail outlets.
