\tTo plan, organise and execute all data science related work for the Group. The incumbent works with CHG\u2019s data management, executes data strategy and works within the parameters of best practice standards for data analytics and business intelligence.\u00a0<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tHonours Degree in (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Data Science)<\/p>\n
Minimum Experience<\/p>\n
\tMust have a minimum of 5 years\u2019 relevant experience
\n\tHealthcare experience is non-negotiable<\/p>\n
Key Competencies<\/p>\n
\tHealthcare funding models including Alternative Reimbursement models
\n\tRisk adjustment methodologies
\n\tClinical Groupers including the diagnostic related grouper and Case Mix related concepts
\n\tClinical coding including ICD-10 and CPT coding
\n\tMaterial coding including NAPPI codes, ATC codes
\n\tModelling concepts including GLMs, Machine learning models
\n\tCommunication
\n\tSenior Stakeholder management
\n\tData Analytics and presentation<\/p>\n
DELIVERABLES<\/p>\n
\tWork with large datasets on data extraction, cleaning, extrapolation, analysis and presentation
\n\tFormulate data science solutions to business problems by collaborating with relevant business leads
\n\tDesign and implement algorithms to solve a wide array of problems with analytics and statistical approaches built on high dimensional datasets
\n\tManage interfaces beyond CHG with relevant bodies and structures regulating or driving best practice for the Actuarial practice
\n\tParticipate in creating toolkits and training materials that will support building a steady skills pipeline
\n\tDrive adherence to statutory standards, policies and procedures within the business unit to ensure compliance at all times and take remedial action where necessary
\n\tPlan, design, develop, optimise and assist with deployment and enhancement of predictive models
\n\tProvide input and expertise in the development of advanced analytics strategy for the Group
\n\tProvide subject matter expertise in areas such as hospital operations, funder relation management, performance measure development, healthcare administration, patient satisfaction, labour and productivity analytics and financial modelling.
\n\tIdentify innovative ways to improve business practices, processes and synergies to increase efficiencies<\/p>\n
