ABOUT THE ROLE<\/p>\n
\tOur Therapy Group Practice at Nurture Alberton in Gauteng is looking for a Physiotherapist to join their team.\u00a0Nurture Health provides medical care, and acute and sub-acute rehabilitation treatment for people with a wide range of disabilities caused by disease or injuries.
\n\tThese include spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, neurological disorders, orthopaedic conditions, and other debilitating conditions and illnesses.
\n\tOur organisation helps people who have become physically or cognitively impaired with the means to lead meaningful lives, regardless of any disability they may have acquired or circumstances they are returning to.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS\/TRAINING<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Physiotherapy
\n\tCurrent HPSCA registration and malpractice insurance
\n\tUp to date CPD status
\n\t>5 years\u2019 experience in a rehabilitation environment
\n\tSpecial interest \/ expertise within neurology and orthopaedics<\/p>\n
KEY COMPETENCIES<\/p>\n
\tProvide physiotherapy interventions to patients referred to the facility.
\n\tDetermine clinical diagnosis and provide physiotherapy treatment plan indicated as an autonomous practitioner.
\n\tDiagnosis, assessment and management of people with disabling conditions on an in-patient and out-patient basis.
\n\tDevelop appropriate packages of care, giving clinical and professional advice to patients, Carers and other healthcare professionals.
\n\tResponsible for physiotherapy treatment.
\n\tTo be a source of expertise and advice for support staff.
\n\tAvailable to work on a weekend \/ public holiday on rotation.<\/p>\n
