The Role<\/p>\n
\tProvides technical support in mechanical maintenance. Maintains and improves machines and equipment to increase or maintain a high level of reliability, availability, cost efficiency and performance.
\n\tOverall co-ordination of Quality related activities or has developed deep skills in one single area related to Quality.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas:<\/p>\n
\tQuality inspection of production machines and equipment during assembly and rebuilds.
\n\tAll raw material or components involved in production process are inspected for suitable quality
\n\tEnsure EHSQ standards are adhere to during assembly
\n\tTest machines and components as required and submit final quality test documents and PDI sheets.
\n\tTo quality assure all major overhauls with the certificate and test of assurance before handover with the customer
\n\tDrafting of Engineering change requests related for machine assembly issues.
\n\tSubmit QIT\u2019s as and when required regarding the quality of products, services and parts and investigate and report findings.
\n\tEngineering drawing management of systems in terms of procurement requirements.
\n\tImplementing the IPV(in progress verification) systems and maintaining the process
\n\tImplementation of SOP for the assembly
\n\tQuality management of tools and measuring equipment
\n\tRoot cause failure analysis process management.
\n\tProduction Machine Audits
\n\tCoordinate customer site investigations related to quality complaints and assist component warranty investigations on request.
\n\tSupplier manufacturing quality inspections, and new supplier Audits.
\n\tQuality improvement projects and development needs for production<\/p>\n
Your Profile:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 \/ N3 qualification or equivalent
\n\tA Trade certificate relating to trackless mining \/ equipment
\n\tFlameproofing Certificate
\n\tQualification in Quality Mandatory
\n\t5+ Years experience in underground trackless equipment (Sandvik equipment)<\/p>\n
Experience in:<\/p>\n
\tUnderground or surface mining environment
\n\tMaintenance of earthmoving equipment
\n\tTrackless equipment major components
\n\tEngineering workshop(s)
\n\tEnglish literacy
\n\tCode B licence
\n\tCertificate of fitness to work in underground mining environment<\/p>\n
