You will be responsible for executing the Sage Intacct sales strategy, leading high-performing teams, and working closely with our Business Partner (BP) ecosystem to accelerate customer acquisition and retention.<\/p>\n<p>Location &#8211; 3 days per week out of our Johannesburg office.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tThis is a high-impact role that demands strategic thinking, operational excellence, and an entrepreneurial mindset. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in enterprise software sales leadership, thrives in complex, fast-paced environments, and is passionate about empowering teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>Sales Leadership &amp; Revenue Growth<\/p>\n<p>\tOwn and exceed revenue targets for Sage Intacct across South Africa and the Africa region.<br \/>\n\tLead the execution of a comprehensive sales strategy focused on new business acquisition and customer migrations from existing Sage platforms.<br \/>\n\tDrive consistent pipeline generation, opportunity progression, and deal closure in alignment with business objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Partner Ecosystem Management<\/p>\n<p>\tCollaborate with the Business Partner sales force to manage pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and win strategies.<br \/>\n\tEnsure strong BP engagement through regular communication, joint planning, and performance reviews.<br \/>\n\tUphold discounting and commercial policies across all partner engagements.<\/p>\n<p>Operational Excellence &amp; Sales Enablement<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure the team is equipped with the skills, tools, and certifications required to deliver against Sage Intacct goals.<br \/>\n\tProvide guidance on best-in-class sales processes and methodologies to maximize channel effectiveness.<br \/>\n\tBuild and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and performance trends.<\/p>\n<p>Team Development &amp; Leadership<\/p>\n<p>\tRecruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team aligned with the region\u2019s strategic ambitions.<br \/>\n\tSet clear KPIs, manage performance reviews, and foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and collaboration.<br \/>\n\tProvide strong leadership in ambiguous or evolving business contexts, ensuring agility and resilience.<\/p>\n<p>Strategic Planning &amp; Execution<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport the development and execution of regional marketing and go-to-market strategies.<br \/>\n\tLead the delivery of critical projects and initiatives, ensuring on-time execution and effective stakeholder engagement.<br \/>\n\tIdentify market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to refine strategy and identify new opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Stakeholder Engagement<\/p>\n<p>\tCollaborate cross-functionally with pre-sales, marketing, operations, finance, and global teams to drive regional alignment.<br \/>\n\tBuild lasting relationships with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders across all levels of the organization.<\/p>\n<p>Must-Have:<\/p>\n<p>\t5\u20137+ years of sales leadership experience in the software or SaaS industry, with demonstrated success managing multi-disciplinary teams.<br \/>\n\tProven track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets in dynamic, competitive markets.<br \/>\n\tDeep understanding of the partner\/channel sales model, including experience with contracts, deal structuring, and negotiation.<br \/>\n\tStrong business acumen with a data-driven approach to forecasting, reporting, and planning.<br \/>\n\tExceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.<br \/>\n\tExperience operating within a matrixed organization.<br \/>\n\tSolid understanding of enterprise systems and business processes.<br \/>\n\tStrong problem-solving abilities and composure under pressure.<br \/>\n\tHighly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.<br \/>\n\tStrategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities and a passion for customer success.<br \/>\n\tInspirational leadership style with a positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset.<\/p>\n<p>Preferred:<\/p>\n<p>\tPrior experience in the ERP or Financial Management Software space.<br \/>\n\tFamiliarity with the African market landscape, including regulatory, economic, and cultural dynamics.<br \/>\n\tTrack record of successfully launching or scaling new product lines or regions.<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>sagehr.my.salesforce-sites.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/sagehr.my.salesforce-sites.com","_company_name":"Sage","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"At Sage, we energise the success of businesses and communities around the world through the imagination of our people and smart technology.
