Compliance<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure compliance with South African labour laws and company policies.<br \/>\n\tLead the company\u2019s B-BBEE strategy, ensuring effective execution, monitoring, and reporting to achieve compliance targets.<br \/>\n\tMaintain up-to-date knowledge of B-BBEE legislation and codes of good practice.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and continuously improve HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices.<br \/>\n\tManage employment contracts, employee records, and HRIS data quality<br \/>\n\tHandle employee queries and foster an inclusive environment<\/p>\n<p>Talent Management &amp; Development<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.<br \/>\n\tWork closely with line managers to meet staffing needs.<br \/>\n\tSupport leadership development through coaching and targeted training.<br \/>\n\tDrive talent reviews, succession planning, and skills gap analysis.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and deliver training programs to enhance employee performance and career growth.<\/p>\n<p>Employee Engagement &amp; Well-being<\/p>\n<p>\tLead employee engagement and well-being initiatives aligned with South African operations and the regional HR strategy.<br \/>\n\tPromote open communication and a collaborative work environment.<br \/>\n\tFacilitate engagement action planning based on employee survey feedback.<\/p>\n<p>Performance Management<\/p>\n<p>\tManage the performance management process to ensure meaningful and regular appraisals.<br \/>\n\tGuide managers on effective feedback and performance improvement plans.<\/p>\n<p>Policy Development<\/p>\n<p>\tImplement and review HR policies to ensure alignment with company goals and legal requirements<br \/>\n\tPromote continuous improvement and adopt HR best practices.<\/p>\n<p>HR Analytics<\/p>\n<p>\tPrepare HR reports and analytics to support decision-making.<br \/>\n\tMonitor key HR metrics such as turnover, time-to-hire, and engagement scores.<\/p>\n<p>MUST HAVE:<\/p>\n<p>\tBachelor\u2019s degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.<br \/>\n\tMinimum 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a similar role in an international organisation, preferably in the shipping, maritime, or logistics industry.<br \/>\n\tProven experience in managing B-BBEE compliance, including strategy, reporting, and audits.<br \/>\n\tIn-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation.<br \/>\n\tProven background managing payroll systems (e.g., Sage VIP) and HR service delivery in a logistics or shipping context<br \/>\n\tExperience in talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, and HR operations.<br \/>\n\tStrong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure<\/p>\n<p>WE VALUE:<\/p>\n<p>\tFlexible and solutions-oriented, able to navigate complex HR challenges in a dynamic environment.<br \/>\n\tStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills.<br \/>\n\tAbility to work at both strategic and operational levels.<br \/>\n\tExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.<br \/>\n\tHigh integrity and business acumen.<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>careers.pilship.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/careers.pilship.com","_company_name":"Pacific International Line(PIL)","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"Pacific International Lines (PIL) is among the top 12 container shipping lines in the world.
