\tTo oversee the capacity and availabilty management lifecycles, ensuring IT services and infrastructure are designed and maintained to meet current and future business demands.
\n\tThis role requires a proactive approach to capacity and availability planning, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation, improve performance, and enhance service reliability<\/p>\n
Key Deliverables \/ Primary Functions<\/p>\n
\tAssess current IT infrastructure and services to ensure capacity aligns with business needs.
\n\tDevelop and implement capacity planning strategies, ensuring scalability and performance across IT systems.
\n\tPerform trend analysis and forecast future capacity requirements based on business growth and technology changes.
\n\tIdentify and mitigate capacity risks, ensuring availability SLA\u2019s are met together with business continuity
\n\tEnsure compliance with organizational standards and policies in capacity and availability management practices
\n\tEngage with business stakeholders to align capacity planning initiatives with strategic goals
\n\tProvides capacity requirements for new or modified IT services
\n\tContributes to reports on performance against targets contained in (SLA\u2019s)
\n\tProvides capacity requirements for new or modified IT services
\n\tDetermines when system resources should be tuned and makes recommendations to IT management on the design and use of system resources to optimize their use<\/p>\n

Minimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tNQF 6: 3 year Degree\/ Diploma\/ National Diploma in IT\/Computer Science
\n\tNQF 4: Grade 12 National Diploma<\/p>\n
Additional Education -Preferred \/Advantage<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t5 Years with experience in a Capacity management, service management or similar IT role.
\n\tA strong understanding of IT Infrastructure, cloud environments and enterprise applications<\/p>\n
Certifications<\/p>\n
\tITIL 4 Foundation preferred<\/p>\n
Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry<\/p>\n
