\tA leading FMCG manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join its team. This role will report directly to the Sales Manager.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n
Customer Service<\/p>\n
\tBuild strong relationships with customers personally and professionally.
\n\tDevelop a deep understanding of the customer’s business and provide tailored packaging solutions.
\n\tAttend to customer complaints effectively.
\n\tGo the extra mile to delight customers.
\n\tProactively manage a 4-weekly calling plan to ensure all customers are visited at the required frequency.<\/p>\n
Sales and Sales Growth<\/p>\n
\tPrepare accurate weekly sales forecasts against budget.
\n\tMeet monthly and annual sales targets in line with budget.
\n\tSource new business and grow sales in line with company strategy and targeted business opportunities.<\/p>\n
Administration<\/p>\n
\tPrepare monthly sales reports, analysing and commenting on variances.
\n\tProvide the business with sales forecasts to ensure product availability.
\n\tManage price increases with customers effectively.
\n\tEnsure price tables are completed accurately and on time.
\n\tConduct customer surveys.
\n\tManage customer engagements and feedback in line with FSSC and ISO requirements.
\n\tStay informed on competitor activity, pricing strategies, and customer perceptions.<\/p>\n
Key Competencies
\nThe successful candidate will be expected to meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 2-3 years of sales experience.
\n\tMarketing\/Sales\/Supplychain Qualification (Degree advantageous).
\n\tProven track record in sales.
\n\tAbility to prepare budgets and targets.
\n\tUnderstanding of the plastics\/packaging industry advantageous.
\n\tFMCG sales experience essential.
\n\tComputer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
\n\tValid driver’s licence.
\n\tAbility to identify and seize opportunities.
\n\tStrong analytical skills.
\n\tHigh need for achievement.
\n\tResilience.
\n\tSelf-discipline and drive to succeed.
\n\tAbility to build relationships quickly and effectively.<\/p>\n
