\tBirkenstock Mall of the North is looking for a store Manager to join their team.
\n\tWell-Established international brand in the footwear industry is looking to employ someone in the role of Store Manager, to join their dynamic team.
\n\tThe successful candidate will be leading the merchandising and sales in the Birkenstock Store according to the purpose, vision and values whilst managing inventory, day to day store operations, shrinkage and the overall in store customer experience.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Sales<\/p>\n
\tMaximise Sales by driving conversion
\n\tSet & communicate daily sales targets to everyone on the team including casuals. Report actual v target results three times during each day to all staff.
\n\tFocus the team on cross & up selling
\n\tCreate relationships with podiatrists, running clubs & gyms in the area to generate sales
\n\tGrow Rewards program data base
\n\tEnsure all customer orders are accurately processed with one working day
\n\tAchieve gross margin targets<\/p>\n
Team Management<\/p>\n
\tBuild a team environment through daily team meetings. Allocate tasks.
\n\tRecruit, lead and motivate the store team to maximise sales and provide exceptional customer service in line with Crocs standards
\n\tDrive conversion through traffic analysis & rostering
\n\tMaster feedback process & provide monthly feedback to all team members
\n\tDevelop the team through regular Tech, Customer Service, Loss Prevention, Podiatry and Sales training.
\n\tDevelop the team by ensuring they complete the Rookie Pack in the prescribed time frame.
\n\tFollow up with all customers queries or requests within 24 hours always
\n\tExecute the months Mystery Shopping action items
\n\tManage the appraisal process for all team members
\n\tManage the induction process
\n\tComplete rosters and adhere to the staffing template
\n\tComplete weekly time sheets, & coordinate lunch breaks
\n\tEnsure all staff wear lanyards & the correct uniform\/tech apparel<\/p>\n
Inventory<\/p>\n
\tMinimise shrinkage & maintain accurate stock records in the POS system
\n\tComplete quarterly stock counts
\n\tExecute mark downs as directed
\n\tRun daily negative stock report and request relevant adjustments
\n\tProcess all deliveries on the same day as receipt, including checking quantities to invoices, tagging, hanging and pricing product, and recording in the POS system
\n\tEnsure storeroom is maintained with the top ten sellers at the front, & all product stored by line of business, gender & category to expedite floor replenishment
\n\tRun & action the daily inventory reports
\n\tReview the store sell through report. Remerchandise or adjust replenishment levels as required
\n\tQuarterly stock takes: This includes the planning of stock take and making sure all preparation is completed, signed off and filed.
\n\tMake sure all necessary paperwork for stock take is printed off, filed and sent through to the Regional Brand Manager.
\n\tReview the stock status and pending transfers report that gets sent out weekly. Follow up that appropriate investigation are getting done.
\n\tComplete OTB process weekly and order the relevant product to optimise stock levels
\n\tMaintain inventory at target levels for all categories & price points every week
\n\tMinimise shrinkage & maintain accurate stock records in the POS system
\n\tProcess deliveries including checking quantities to invoices, tagging, hanging and pricing product, and recording in the POS system<\/p>\n
Operations<\/p>\n
\tEnsure VM and windows comply with Birkenstock standards
\n\tEnsure the store is clean, no lights are out, change rooms are clear of product & that the music is appropriate
\n\tOpen and close the store
\n\tReconcile cash to end of day tender report & complete & sign the end of day banking book
\n\tBank takings
\n\tComplete month end Stock Receipt report
\n\tComplete month end Sales report
\n\tProactively manage controllable store expenses; discounts given, petty cash, stationery, phone, cleaning etc.
\n\tEnsure compliance with the operational health and safety policy<\/p>\n
Month End<\/p>\n
\tPrepare month end reports
\n\tComplete Return to Supplier report
\n\tPrepare sales report with budget variance explanations.
\n\tGrade 12 or Equivalent
\n\t2 years\u2019 experience in a similar capacity
\n\tWilling to work shifts
\n\tValid Drivers\u2019 Licence
\n\tOwn Vehicle advantageous<\/p>\n
