Corporate Services \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Apprenticeship (Mechanical \/ Avionics) \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Graduate Intern"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Description<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee day\u2011to\u2011day HR administration, policies, and systems to ensure smooth and consistent delivery of HR services.<br \/>\n\tDevelop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks aligned with labour legislation and company strategy.<br \/>\n\tMonitor HR metrics (turnover, headcount, absenteeism) and prepare regular management reports with actionable insights.<br \/>\n\tDrive process improvements and digitisation initiatives to enhance HR efficiency and employee experience.<br \/>\n\tEnsure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including Employment Equity and Skills Development.<br \/>\n\tLead end\u2011to\u2011end recruitment strategies for all levels, ensuring attraction of high\u2011calibre talent aligned with workforce plans.<br \/>\n\tGuide the team in interviewing, selection processes, and appointment approvals.<br \/>\n\tPartner with external agencies, professional networks, and educational institutions to build talent pipelines.<br \/>\n\tProvide expert guidance on labour law, disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, and workplace conflict resolution.<br \/>\n\tChair or support complex investigations, hearings, and consultations, ensuring procedural and substantive fairness.<br \/>\n\tBuild capability in line management to manage ER matters proactively and ethically.<br \/>\n\tMaintain constructive relationships with unions and employee representatives, anticipating and mitigating potential disputes.<br \/>\n\tOversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality of all payroll transactions.<br \/>\n\tPartner with Finance to ensure statutory deductions, benefits administration, and reconciliations are accurate and timely.<br \/>\n\tContinuously review and improve payroll systems and processes, ensuring alignment with HR data management and reporting needs.<br \/>\n\tResolve payroll\u2011related queries escalated by the HR or Finance teams.<br \/>\n\tAct as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing expert insights on people\u2011related strategies and risks.<br \/>\n\tBuild and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders (line managers, executives) and external stakeholders (regulators, service providers).<br \/>\n\tFacilitate cross\u2011functional collaboration to ensure alignment between HR initiatives and business objectives.<br \/>\n\tThe list of tasks or duties and responsibilities herein is not exhaustive, and the employer is entitled to instruct the employee at any time to carry out additional duties or responsibilities, which fall reasonably within the ambit of the role profile, or in accordance with operational requirements.<br \/>\n\tProactively engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, manage expectations, and drive shared outcomes.<br \/>\n\tRepresent the organisation at industry forums, regulatory engagements, and key talent markets to strengthen employer positioning.<br \/>\n\tLead and develop an HR team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.<br \/>\n\tAct as a trusted advisor to the Executive: HR &amp; Corporate Services, providing insight on people\u2011related risks, opportunities, and strategies.<br \/>\n\tCollaborate cross\u2011functionally with all departments to ensure HR practices support organisational goals.<br \/>\n\tChampion diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee well\u2011being initiatives.<br \/>\n\tLead the development and delivery of HR dashboards and analytics to support evidence\u2011based decision\u2011making.<br \/>\n\tAnalyse workforce data (e.g., headcount, turnover, absenteeism, ER cases) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.<br \/>\n\tPrepare and present regular and ad hoc reports to senior management, highlighting insights and recommendations.<br \/>\n\tEnsure data integrity within HR systems and drive continuous improvement in reporting accuracy and timeliness.<br \/>\n\tUse analytics to inform workforce planning and other initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tGrade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);<br \/>\n\tBCom degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related discipline (Essential);<br \/>\n\tPostgraduate Honours degree in HR or Business Leadership (Essential);<br \/>\n\tMaster\u2019s degree in HR or Business Leadership (Advantageous);<br \/>\n\t10-12 years\u2019 experience in a HR-related role, of which, 5 years must be in a management role (Essential);<br \/>\n\tExperience in HR systems, process automation, and data analytics (Essential);<br \/>\n\tExperience managing a diverse HR team across multiple functional areas (Essential);<br \/>\n\tAviation experience (Advantageous);<br \/>\n\tExcellent knowledge and understanding of Human Resource procedures and relevant legislation (BCEA, EEA, Codes of Good Practices);<br \/>\n\tSound knowledge of Employment laws, practices Skills Development and Employment Equity;<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (preferable Sage People 300) and Microsoft office (with exceptional skills in Excel);<br \/>\n\tStrong knowledge of HR technology and data analytics for tracking HR metrics.<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"FlySafair","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"FlySafair is South Africa's true low cost airline.
